Meet Jackie Bourdon — Your Holistic Wellness & Culinary Nutrition Guide


Hi! I’m Jackie. I’m a certified Holistic Nutritionist, wellness and meditation coach, and a mom who has walked the long road of chronic illness, burnout and rebuilding life from the inside out.

I help women slow down, reconnect with themselves, and make their wellness, and their kitchens, feel simple, doable and supportive again.

My work lives in two places:


Purely Nourished Life, where I focus on wellness, routines, nature, and intentional living…and


Purely Nourished Kitchen, where whole-food, gluten-free cooking becomes easy, accessible, and rooted in everyday life.

Both grew out of my own story.

Where My Journey Began

My own path into holistic wellness wasn’t gentle. It was a complete collapse.

In 2017, I woke up one morning in so much pain and weakness that I couldn’t walk to the kitchen to get a glass of water. That moment changed everything.

Having already been diagnosed with celiac disease, what followed was a series of more diagnoses:

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Raynaud’s disease

  • Trochleitis

  • Osteoarthritis

  • High blood pressure

  • Recurrent tendonitis and tendonosis

  • Chronic fatigue syndrome

  • Frozen shoulder

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

  • A complex jaw disorder that led to a full TMJ replacement surgery in 2022, followed by radiation

The crazy list of things going on with my body just kept coming. All while managing celiac disease and food intolerances in our home, raising kids and trying to keep life together.

I spent years feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, inflamed, and disconnected from myself physically, mentally and emotionally. But, it led me on a journey of wellness and to where I am today.

How Wellness Became My Lifeline

My healing didn't come from one moment — it came from hundreds of tiny shifts.

I began studying holistic nutrition, meditation, the mind-body connection, culinary nutrition and simple daily practices that support nervous system health. Bit by bit, I rebuilt my strength, my identity and my life.

I learned how powerful it is when we:

  • support our bodies with real, whole-food nutrition

  • create steady rhythms of rest, nourishment and movement

  • reconnect with nature and our inner voice

  • build systems at home, especially in the kitchen, that reduce stress instead of adding to it

And slowly, I felt alive again.

Why I Love What I Do

I’m endlessly fascinated by the mind-body connection and the way stress, nourishment, trauma, inflammation and environment all shape our health.

I believe women don’t need more pressure, more perfection or more complicated wellness plans.

We need:

  • simple rituals

  • gentle routines

  • whole-food meals

  • supportive kitchen systems

  • nature

  • rest

  • presence

  • and space to hear ourselves again

I LOVE helping women feel how interconnected their bodies and their lives truly are and how capable they are of rebuilding both.

Purely Nourished Kitchen is the how, the practical side of nourishment.

Here, I teach:

  • gluten-free whole-food cooking

  • freezer prep

  • pantry systems

  • simple weekly routines

  • kitchen flow

  • meal prep that fits real life

  • stocked-kitchen habits that make eating well feel effortless

  • easy ways to handle multiple food intolerances and texture sensitivities

It’s the support women need when they’re tired of feeling overwhelmed in their kitchens and want meals, systems, and clarity that actually work.

Outside of the wellness space, you’ll find me:

  • camping and hiking trails

  • taking spontaneous day trips

  • exploring new towns and waterfalls

  • spending time with my husband and kids

  • walking my two dogs

  • cooking gluten-free comfort foods

  • researching new ways to simplify life

  • journaling and grounding in nature

I’m happiest outdoors, in my kitchen or with my family and I bring that same grounded, adventurous, calm-living energy into everything I teach.
